Divorce Court Riddim – Lion King Muzik

2021 reggae came in from Lion King Muzik with Divorce Court Riddim, a roots-leaning various-artists set that brings together Al Campbell, Gappy Ranks, J. C. Lodge, Maxi Priest, Pressure Buss Pipe and Reemah, White Mice, Loyal Flames, and Marie Coke. The release runs eight songs in all and was issued in April 2021 under the LionkingMuzik imprint, with Gappy Ranks’ Greetings and Maxi Priest’s Mash Up My Life among the key cuts. It also folds in the duet Babylon City from Pressure Buss Pipe and Reemah, giving the riddim a nice balance of veteran voices and newer energy.
