Mad Opera Overview

Mad Opera Riddim is a soca riddim that came out of the Caribbean in 2022 and quickly became a favorite at Carnival parties. The riddim’s upbeat and catchy sound made it perfect for dancing and celebrating during the season. Several big names in soca and dancehall brought their energy to this riddim. Problem Child and Terra D Governor teamed up for the song “Damage.” Problem Child is well known for his hit “Party Animal,” which has been a staple at Caribbean events for years. Pumpa delivered “Bad Company,” adding his unique style to the mix. Sekon Sta and Mr. Killa joined forces on “Get Mad.” Mr. Killa is famous for winning the International Soca Monarch title in 2019 with his song “Run Wid It.” Shal Marshall gave fans the track “Plenty.” Shal Marshall is also known for his radio work and for tracks like “Splinters.” Tallpree brought “Work out Session” to the riddim, continuing his tradition of high-energy soca anthems. The riddim was arranged by a talented island arranger who made sure every track had that special Carnival vibe. The producer, VARIOUS ARTISTES, is known for putting together top soca projects and has helped bring many Caribbean hits to the world. Their work on this riddim kept the soca groove alive and strong.
