A quick three-cut dancehall run, Love Time Riddim keeps the focus tight with Deep Jahi’s “Gallis Anthem, ” Jahvillani’s “Nah Stop, ” and Lexikhan’s “Drunk In Love, ” all riding a 2014 YGF Records and Junkyard Music Productions cut that’s more about attitude than excess. Deep Jahi comes in sharp on the opener, Jahvillani leans into the kind of no-backing-down energy that later made him a name to watch, and Lexikhan closes it out with a more flirtatious turn on “Drunk In Love. ” The production has that lean, street-ready feel you’d expect from a small-artist juggling act: stripped-down, bass-heavy, and made to leave space for the voices to do the talking.
