Lost Keys Riddim – Adde Productions

Lost Keys rides a spare, tense dancehall groove with just enough swing to keep the bassline moving, the kind of rhythm that leaves room for attitude rather than clutter. Adde Productions and Johnny Wonder put it out in 2015, and the line-up sits neatly between veteran pull and street-level grit: Gage leans into the reckless cheek of “Still, ” QQ keeps “Number One” nimble, and RDX turn “Bottle Service” into the sort of party talk that sticks. But the centre of gravity is Vybz Kartel’s “I Promise You, ” which pulls the riddim toward something more melodically direct without softening the edge. The instrumental cuts under the vocals with a stripped, late-night feel, and Kartel’s take leaves the sharpest imprint on the set.
