Dane Raychords’ Living Riddim came through in 2016 with a compact eight-track dancehall set that keeps the focus on the songs rather than any big concept. The lineup is tight: Buck One kicks off with the rowdy “Unstoppable Party, ” Diligence cuts into the more reflective lane with “Lean on Me, ” and Pretti Kitti’s “Do You Even Know Me” adds a sharper, more personal edge. Charly Black gets the clearest spotlight here, with “Living” appearing twice in the tracklist, including an explicit version and a radio edit, which tells you where the hook-heavy center of gravity sits. Spangy’s “Left Handside” and Zagga’s “Never Sell Nutten Yet” keep the rhythm moving with that mid-tempo, street-level pulse Dane Raychords likes to work with, and Zagga’s cut leaves the strongest final imprint.
