Christopher Miller’s production keeps the focus on rootsy movement rather than ornament: a steady mid-tempo pulse, deep bass weight, clean guitar skanks and the kind of restrained drum pattern that leaves space for the singers to work. Richie Spice’s title cut is the clearest anchor, but Chuck Fender’s “Jah Servant” and Turbulence’s “Gift From Jah” fit the same conscious strain without crowding the arrangement.
