Ligament Riddim – Multi-Talented Music

Multi-Talented Music comes at this one with a sharper, more vocal-friendly dancehall cut than the name might suggest, and the Ligament Riddim keeps the energy tight without overloading the arrangement. The title track with Charly Black, Gage and Renee 630 has the kind of cheeky, waistline-ready bounce that makes a juggling stick, while Yanique Curvy Diva’s “Priority” leans into that sly, commanding delivery she does so well. Seya’s “Fling Back This” and Shudly’s “Can’t Wine Like You” keep the momentum moving, but the instrumental alone says plenty about the riddim’s punchy low end. Released in July 2019, it landed in the middle of a year when dancehall was still full of these compact, singer-heavy projects, and this one fits neatly into that run.
