Life Triangle Overview

In 2014, a group of reggae musicians came together in the studio to create a roots-inspired riddim with a rocksteady flow. The sound was built on classic reggae percussion and deep basslines, giving the music an old-school feeling. The dub engineer played a big role, shaping the mix with echo and reverb to bring out the best in each artist’s voice and the instruments. The project was led by RHOME RECORDS, a label known for supporting both new and established reggae talent. RHOME RECORDS has a history of producing riddims that keep the vintage reggae spirit alive while reaching modern listeners. Their releases are often played at reggae festivals and have found fans worldwide. Each artist on this riddim brought their own style. D'koncep delivered the powerful song Jah Know Best, showing his strength as a conscious lyricist. Dj Rhome, who is also known for his work behind the scenes, stepped forward with Work Hard, a track that celebrates determination. Karamanti, who has worked with several international reggae artists in her career, gave listeners Hold On, a song with uplifting words. Khago, famous for his hit Nah Sell Out and for charting in Jamaica, added Like Everyday, bringing his signature vocal style. Leyavo joined with Am Sorry, adding a heartfelt touch to the collection. This 2014 roots session captured a real reggae feeling, blending fresh energy with classic sounds.
