Triangle Riddim – Kingston Wall Music

Kingston Wall Music usually gets tagged for straight-ahead reggae work, and Triangle Riddim keeps that lane tidy with just four cuts and no excess, a lean little 2018 set that leans more on songwriting than studio fireworks. Don Bizzle’s “Africa’s Burning” sets the tone with a rootsy, conscious angle, while Al Pancho’s “Wah Go Home” brings a sharper, more pointed edge to the same frame. Bas360’s “In Love Again” softens things a touch, and Jah Bully’s “Crack of a Whip” closes it out with the hardest title and the most pressure in the lineup. Released in August 2018 and running only about 14 minutes, it feels like one of those compact backyard sessions where every voice gets in, says its piece, and leaves the riddim to do the rest.
