Life Light Riddim has that early-2010s dancehall bite, with a lean, no-frills groove that leaves space for the voices to carry the weight. Donelo’s “Like A Quarta” comes off sharp and street-level, while Ricky Hype leans into the pressure of “Living Inna Babylon” with a more conscious edge. Tenza turns in the project’s most memorable cut with “What Would You Do, ” and the fact that it was issued in both clean and raw versions gives the whole set a little extra yardie flavour. R Cephus and M. Weinem’s instrumental keeps the arrangement moving without overloading it, which suits the compact six-track format.
