Cloud High Riddim – Cp1 Records

Cp1 Records keeps Cloud High Riddim lean and local, with a small 2013 dancehall set that circles around the same uplifting, skyward idea without ever getting too polished or overworked. Caldhino’s “So High” comes in twice, clean and raw, and that alone tells you the crew wanted the tune to travel in different corners of the dance, while Cp Pedro’s “Hold Mi Own” and Woney’s “True Wi A Rise” keep the energy grounded in self-made ambition rather than empty bragging. Madd One’s “Part Of Life” sits nicely in the middle of that mood, giving the riddim a bit of reflection alongside the push. It’s a compact CP1 showcase, six cuts all told, and the little remix with Woney and Cp Pedro feels like the afterthought that sneaks in and sticks.
