Kumbia Riddim – Stormy Windz Production

Stormy Windz Production keeps Kumbia Riddim moving with a bright soca pulse that feels made for road season, all quick-footed percussion and a lively, party-first bounce. Fannixx’s “Wave” is the cut that catches quickest, while Kidjay’s “Bring It” and Scrumotel’s “Stress Free Party” push the same energy in different directions, one a little more commanding, the other looser and more carefree. Torell Doroaz closes the small four-track set with “So Good, ” which fits the easy, sunlit mood without overcomplicating things. It’s a compact 2018 release, just four artists deep, and that lean lineup gives the riddim a neat, uncluttered feel.
