Simple Jab Riddim rolls with a quick, jab-heavy soca pulse that feels made for Carnival road energy, all bright momentum and tight percussion rather than anything overly polished or glossy. Released in 2018, it came through Huntta Flow Production with six tracks and six different voices, a neat little spread that gives the riddim room to breathe. De Alien’s “Dose Up” and Young Tall’s “Nutz Job (Nutz Man)” sit at opposite ends of the tracklist with Mac-I’s “Show Me Movements” and Sick-O’s “Plane Land” in the middle, while the producer’s own instrumental closes things out.
