KUBULI RIDDIM SEASON 2 – SLAUGHTER ARTS MEDIA 2014
Kubuli Overview
The festival groove that lit up Carnival 2021 started in the studio with a simple idea: to create a rhythm that would make everyone dance. The team worked together, blending lively soca beats and catchy melodies. The carnival director played an important role, guiding the sound and energy of the project. With a clear vision, the director wanted music that could bring people together and keep the party going. The Kubuli Riddim brought together some of soca’s most exciting voices. Ronnie Homer’s “Bouncing Up” set the tone with high energy and a playful style. Mary G followed with “Bumpa Tap,” adding her own strong and joyful touch. Mary G is well known in the soca world, especially for her performances at major Caribbean festivals. Eddie Charles brought his song “Doh Hold Meh” to the mix, giving fans a reason to keep moving. Charles is respected for his smooth vocals and has been part of many popular soca releases over the years. Nicole David’s “Wet Me” added a fresh, fun vibe to the riddim. She is recognized for her powerful stage presence and has performed at many regional events. Arthur completed the lineup with “Rum Not Juice,” delivering a classic party anthem that quickly became a crowd favorite. Even now, the Kubuli Riddim brings back memories of Carnival 2021.
