Kushface Entertainment leans hard into the darker side of 2021 dancehall on Mass Slaughter Riddim, a tense eight-track set where the title alone tells you the mood. Muz420’s “Mass Slaughter” and Jason Xturn’s “Dead Man Dem” sit right in the pocket of the production, with those blunt, war-ready cutdowns that keep the whole riddim feeling brisk and hostile, while ShaqStar’s “Rental” and Germán’s “Dem Don’t Bad” sharpen the variation without softening the edge. There’s a nice collision of voices too, from Rani and Narco Boss on “Nuh Bad Like Narco” to the triple-up on “Easy Target” with D-Askel, KyDa and #DiDonSon. It’s a compact project, but the naming and the energy stay on-message throughout, right down to the murder-ready track titles.
