Kingston Riddim – Firesticks Productions

Kingston Riddim was issued in 2022 by Firesticks Productions as a five-track reggae set with a compact, vocal-forward lineup that pairs Fusion’s I Know the Way, Matchezz’s Jah Jah People, Steel Devinity’s Fall on My Knees, and Usvi Sahara’s In Violation with the label’s own title cut, Kingston Riddim. The release runs just over 20 minutes and has a tight EP feel, with Matchezz also tied closely to the Firesticks camp as part of the production team. The mix of singers gives the riddim a varied but focused feel, moving between roots-minded messages and a smooth modern delivery without losing the one-riddim framework.
