A taut, punchy dancehall swing drives Kick Out Riddim, with the bass and drums leaving plenty of space for the vocals to snap through. Exeline Beatz keeps the 2021 EP lean at six tracks, cutting in Gaiv’s “Fake, ” Interlake’s “Touch It, ” MProfecy’s “Vex, ” Suga Skull’s “Clean, ” and Tai J’s “No Play, ” then closing with the riddim instrumental under the producer’s own name. The sequencing feels more like a clean showcase than a crowded compilation, and “Vex” and “No Play” sit near the front of the pack for their sharper edge.
