Punchy and clipped, Kick Out Riddim keeps the focus on a compact six-track dancehall set from Bread Back, with Sizzla Kalonji’s “Nuh Needle” and Beenie Man’s “Bus A Laugh” giving the project its biggest names while Delly Ranx, Mr. Murphy, and Erup feat. Jah Strength keep the energy moving. The sequencing is bare-bones: five voicetracks and then Bread Back’s own instrumental, which leaves the rhythm itself to do the talking.
