Kick Out Riddim – Bread Back Productions

Punchy and clipped, Kick Out Riddim keeps the focus on a compact six-track dancehall set from Bread Back, with Sizzla Kalonji’s “Nuh Needle” and Beenie Man’s “Bus A Laugh” giving the project its biggest names while Delly Ranx, Mr. Murphy, and Erup feat. Jah Strength keep the energy moving. The sequencing is bare-bones: five voicetracks and then Bread Back’s own instrumental, which leaves the rhythm itself to do the talking. Richard Bramwell, credited here as Bread Back, had already been putting out productions under that name before this 2015 release. Kick Out Riddim was released in 2015.
