Skinny Fabulous gives Kayak Vybz Riddim its sharpest pull, and “Angela” feels like the cut that hangs over the whole set. Redshield and Stonehill Records keep the juggling tight and lean, with just three tracks here: Luta’s “Gyal Bawling Radio, ” Killa’s “Me Never Laps, ” and Skinny Fabulous closing the circle. The production has that 2012 soca snap to it, all bright bounce, sturdy drums, and enough bass weight to keep the pace pushing without getting cluttered. Luta comes in with a rough-edged chant, Killa leans into the playful patter, and Skinny Fabulous brings the most memorable hook. It sits neatly in that early-2010s wave of Caribbean riddims that aimed for radio and road at the same time, short on tracks but built for instant replay.
