Millbeatz Entertainment’s Salsa Riddim sits in that early-2010s soca run where the groove does most of the talking, and this one keeps the cast tight with Olatunji, Menace and Renzo handling the vocals over the label’s instrumental cut. The production leans into a Latin-tinted soca pulse rather than straight carnival bombast, with a clipped percussion pattern, bright synth stabs and a low, steady bass line that leaves plenty of room for the singers to work the hooks. Olatunji’s “Bam Bam” has the most immediate pull, while “Jiggle De Ting” and “Bend Ya Back” stay close to the same pocket without crowding it. It’s a four-track set, including the instrumental, and the whole thing moves at a brisk, dancefloor-friendly tempo that keeps the emphasis on rhythm and phrasing.
