At the heart of this project was RICKY HYPE PRODUCTIONS. Known for sharp production and a knack for club hits, Ricky Hype’s label had already made waves in the dancehall scene. Their earlier work included collaborations with rising and established artists, helping to push new riddims into the spotlight. With Jay Riddim, the label aimed to capture the excitement of the dancefloor and keep the sound fresh for the streets. Jahmiel brought his signature style to the riddim with “Bun Babylon.” Already recognized for his powerful voice and conscious lyrics, Jahmiel was gaining attention with tracks like “Gain the World.” His performance on this riddim added depth and meaning, connecting with fans looking for more than just a party tune.
