Back in 2021, when Zimdancehall was leaning hard into fast local riddims and big singalong hooks, Cymplex Music Zw lined up Jarzin Riddim as a sprawling showcase, and the sheer scale tells you a lot: 50 tracks, 49 artists, and a cast that runs from Enzo Ishall and Silent Killer to Ricky Fire and Jah Master. The beat sits in that gritty, springy pocket the scene was chasing at the time, with enough bounce for sharper lines and enough space for the voices to cut through, while tunes like “Handikubate, ” “Shamwari Yangu, ” and “Competition” give the compilation some of its clearest pull. Cymplex Music Zw even issued an instrumental version a few days later, underlining how central the riddim itself was to the release, and the main set landed on August 31, 2021.
