Iron Stand Riddim – Homebase Music

Iron Stand Riddim comes in with a punchy, road-ready soca pulse, the kind of rhythm that feels tuned for jab-jab dust and carnival push-off rather than polite listening. Homebase Music kept the lineup tight in 2013, and the six cuts move with a nice split between straight party talk and sharper character sketches: Baracka’s “Hunting For Mas” and Boogie B’s “Move Yuh Mudda” lean into the rougher edge, while Jizzo’s “Dutty Conduct” and Terror Kid’s “Senseless” keep the energy in the grease. Tian Winters closes it out with “Aint Got Time 4 Dat, ” and that one lands as the cleanest hook in the set, a brisk, clipped anthem that gives the riddim its final lift. Lavaman’s “Madd Masss” is the other cut that sticks, riding the pattern with enough swagger to make the whole sequence feel built for the road.
