Anson and Madmen Prod. keep Partygen Riddim lean and pointed: just two cuts, both carrying that straight-ahead soca push without any extra clutter. Dillie’s “2 Days On The Road” has the more memorable title, all movement and mileage, while Rome’s “Wrecker” sounds like it was made to hit harder in a feted-up road-march setting, the kind of tune that wants crowd noise behind it. With only those two vocals, the whole thing feels more like a quick snapshot of 2013 party soca than a full-blown compilation, and that’s part of the charm. Even the name lands with a little swagger, almost like it was meant for one sharp season and left at that.
