Invasion Riddim (2013) – Young Talent Entertainment

Unlike some of Young Talent Entertainment’s other 2013 soca work, Invasion Riddim keeps the focus tight: five cuts, seven voices, and no wasted space. Cinnamon’s “Madder Than Mad” and the Creff/Blacka Dan pairing on “Geh She Di Thing” sit alongside Ghage Maddis, Vigarous X Tempa, and Zone 2, giving the project a compact frontline rather than a parade-sized cast. The riddim itself leans on a brisk, marching kick pattern with sharp percussion and a low, steady bassline that keeps the whole thing moving without getting busy. It has that early-2010s festival edge, where the arrangement is more about momentum than ornament, and the vocals ride high over the groove instead of crowding it. By the time “Move” closes things out, the tempo has already done most of the talking.
