In the year 2000, a special dub release called Internet Riddim came out and made a big mark on reggae music. It was released in Jamaica, where many of the best reggae sounds are born. The Internet Riddim was built on a strong foundation rhythm that brought back the classic reggae style, but with a fresh energy that fit the new century. Several well-known artists came together on this release. Beenie Man Tristan Palma performed "Jah Power." Beenie Man is famous worldwide for hits like "Who Am I (Sim Simma)" and has won a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. Tristan Palma is also respected in reggae for his roots style. Charley P sang "My Woman." Elephant Man brought his lively voice to "Mr Bigger Heads."
