The best thing about Inna Danceyard Riddim is how spare and smoky it feels, with Ifficially Records keeping the whole set anchored in a loose roots-dancehall pocket. Gomba Jahbari’s “Acho Puñeta” brings an immediate hook, while Mr. Majestic on “Revolution Mercenary” and Ras Elijah Tafari on “Hold Di Faith” push the riddim into different corners without breaking its mood; the Spanish-language turns from Misael González and the instrumental cut underline how much space the production leaves around the vocals. Ifficially Records later revisited the concept with a Vol. 2 in 2020, but this first pass has the rougher, more curious edge.
