Soca in 2024 saw big moments, and one of the most talked-about releases was the In The Clouds Riddim. This project arrived during a time when Caribbean music was reaching new audiences worldwide, especially during carnival season. The riddim was produced by N.M.G Music, a label known for bringing fresh energy to the soca scene. N.M.G Music has built a reputation for working with top artists and delivering tracks that become favorites at carnivals and parties. The riddim featured three standout artists. Bunji Garlin, a Trinidadian star with a long list of successes, brought his signature style to the track "Upward." Bunji Garlin is well-known for his hit "Differentology," which won the 2013 Soul Train Award for Best International Performance. His energetic delivery made "Upward" a highlight of the project. Fay-Ann Lyons added her powerful voice to "Drones." As one of soca’s leading female artists, Fay-Ann Lyons has won multiple Road March titles in Trinidad and Tobago and is respected for her commanding stage presence. Her contribution on this riddim showed why she remains a force in the genre. Problem Child completed the trio with "Ain't See Nothing Yet." Hailing from St. Vincent, Problem Child is known for his songwriting skills and for penning the popular song "Party Animal" for soca artist Kerwin Du Bois. In The Clouds Riddim became a key anthem of soca 2024, filling parties and parades with its infectious energy and memorable performances.
