The program keeps close to the Zim sound: Xzibit’s “Life…, ” Kanto Dem’s “Ndakatadza Mudiwa Wangu, ” G-Nyce’s “Ndiye, ” Lulu’s “Show Us Love, ” and Ras Botwe’s “Svovi Yangu” all lean into the rhythmic patter and singjay pull that defined the scene at the time.
