Fowl Feather Riddim sits in that sturdy mid-2010s dancehall pocket where the groove does the talking: spare, tough-edged, and built for voices with attitude. Big House Records kept the lineup tight in 2014, and the cut runs through Bastian’s “How Mi Look, ” Blac Blayde’s sharp-tongued “Do Things Do Things, ” and Prymist’s “Head Get Hot” before closing out with the instrumental version.
