Hydrone Riddim – Caution Vybz Musik

Out of Jamaica’s early-2010s dancehall shuffle came Hydrone Riddim, a compact four-track juggling from Caution Vybz Musik that keeps the focus on voice and groove rather than excess. Cjae’s “Giving Yuh Loving” and Flex’s “Twist And Turn” sit alongside Shankle’s “Give Yuh Loving” and Soldya’s “Man A Pray, ” with the sequencing giving the set a quick, no-nonsense feel. It’s the sort of riddim built for DJs who want a few sharply cut cuts instead of a long, crowded line-up, and the titles alone hint at the mixture of flirting and prayer that ran through dancehall at the time.
