Carmela Riddim V1 by Taksik Musik arrived in 2020 as a compact dancehall set with 12 cuts from 10 different artists, including Levardes, Sano Krush, SayShan, Skorpioh and OMP, plus Taksik on Upliftment. The lineup also runs through G Blinga and Rutuk on Na Fail, Maro Don on Road Mi Walk and Sarge on Bubble Up, giving the rhythm a nice spread of voices across the same foundation. Levardes’ My Girl and Sano Krush’s Merry Go Round help anchor the project, while the title cut Upliftment closes it out with a producer-led touch. It plays like a straightforward, voice-heavy dancehall riddim with a clean, modern feel and enough variety to keep the energy moving.
