Honey Riddim keeps things lean, with just three cuts and a neat little Carnival-ready shape around them. Lil Bitts opens with “Sweetness, ” Benjai follows with “Wine To The Side, ” and Machel Montano’s “Spin Class” gives the set its biggest-name pull; that last track also turned up in 2011 Carnival mix circles, so it already had some road mileage before this 2012 listing. There’s no extra padding here, no dub pile, no long sequence to sift through, just the core songs laid out in order on a short soca juggling. The release is credited to Various Artists and lists three tracks in total.
