His Imperial Majesty Riddim — Dread At The Controls and Reggae Fever revisits a 1978 roots foundation produced by Michael Campbell, with later Reggae Fever cuts by Sylvain Perret and Prince Malachi folding the classic into a 2006 update. The lineup pulls in Rod Taylor, Mikey Dread, Anthony B, Jah Mason, Junior Kelly, Luciano, Prince Malachi and Willi Williams, with Rod Taylor’s title tune, Mikey Dread’s African Anthem Dread All The Way and the Rod Taylor and Capleton combination giving the set its strongest anchor. It moves between the original militant chant and a more modern roots-reggae pass, keeping the Imperial theme at the center while linking the old-school rhythm to a fresh singjay and culture-heavy cast.
