Highgrade Riddim – Stainless Music

By 2008, reggae riddims were still carrying that late-2000s balance of message music and speaker-ready pull, and Highgrade sits right in that pocket with Stainless Music lining up a strong cast around a smoky, herb-conscious groove. Sizzla’s “Blackman Rise” and Etana’s “Crazy Love” give the riddim its clearest emotional range, while T. O. K. and Anthony Malvo keep the energy moving with the more chant-along side of the set; the production leans into a warm one-drop feel with enough low-end weight to keep it rooted without getting too glossy.
