Hard Edge Riddim leans into that grimy, no-frills 2010 dancehall pressure, with a lean eight-track run that keeps the energy sharp and the arrangements clipped. Aidonia’s “Jack Hammer (Part 2)” sets the tone with its blunt force, while Chronic’s “Hard Fi Get” and De’Vious on “Watch and Chat” ride the same tough, street-level pulse without overcomplicating things. Masicka’s “Nah Look” is the name that jumps out most here, but Monique’s “Like I Do” adds a different texture before Slighce closes things out with “Get Wild Fi Mi, ” leaving the riddim’s hard-edged finish hanging in the air.
