Flatlands Overview
The Flatlands Riddim mix came out in Jamaica in 2011, making a strong mark in dancehall music that year. This riddim was heard in many street dances, where its bold, energetic sound matched the lively spirit of the time. Several artists helped shape the sound of Flatlands Riddim. Bitta Blood delivered “Boast And Brag,” adding a tough, confident voice to the mix. Bling Dawg, known for his 2002 hit “Phone Call,” brought his experience to the track “Cut Off.” El Feco’s “You A Gwaan” added another layer of energy and style. Flippa Mafia, who gained attention for his flashy stage presence and the song “Mus Fly Again,” brought his unique flair. Lexx, also known as Lexxus, contributed “Diggy,” showing his skill as a dancehall artist with a career that includes the well-known track “Cook.” The production was led by FEDERATION SOUND, a respected name in reggae and dancehall.
