Feenin Overview

In 2014, dancehall music was filled with energy and excitement. The sound system cut of the Feenin Riddim captured this feeling perfectly. SUBKONSHUS MUSIC, the label behind the riddim, was already known for shaping modern dancehall. The label is led by Konshens, one of Jamaica’s top dancehall artists. SUBKONSHUS MUSIC has released several popular riddims and helped launch many artists’ careers. The Feenin Riddim featured a strong lineup. Nicky B delivered “Easy Does It (Clean),” bringing his smooth voice. Nicky B is known for his hit “If U Were My Girl” and has worked with international artists like Sean Paul. Darrio’s “Hurry Up (Clean)” added a catchy and fast-paced vibe. Darrio is recognized for his energetic songs and collaborations in the dancehall scene. Delus performed “Bad It Up (Clean),” showing his unique style. Delus, the brother of Konshens, was respected in dancehall for songs like “What Tomorrow May Bring.” The riddim also included “Dancefloor (Clean)” by Konshens Feat Chanelly. Konshens is famous for hits like “Gal a Bubble” and has toured worldwide. Chanelly, featured on “Dancefloor (Clean)” and also with her own version, brought a fresh voice to the project. Other artists on the riddim included Masicka with “Heaven (Clean),” Voicemail with “Tonight (Clean),” and Seya with “Love Me Wah (Clean).” Each track added its own style to the riddim.
