FEEL SO RIDDIM produced by ZINC LANE PRODUCTIONS 2016
Feel So Overview
In 2016, a group of talented artists gathered at ZINC LANE PRODUCTIONS’ studio to create a dancehall set that would light up the dance floor. The team behind the project wanted a sound that felt raw and energetic, perfect for parties and festivals. ZINC LANE PRODUCTIONS, known for their sharp production and work with both new and established voices, guided the session with a clear vision. The label had already built a reputation for pushing dancehall’s boundaries, earning respect in the Jamaican music scene. Each artist brought their own style to the tracks. Blacka Dan opened with “Mek She Feel So,” delivering tough lyrics and a confident flow. Penny Irie, a respected voice with a career stretching back to the 1980s and known for hits like “No Mama No Cry,” gave a heartfelt performance on “Cry Fi Yu.” Jah Marlo followed with “Daily Basis,” adding his steady voice to the riddim’s energy. Classical Esca’s “Fake Hail” explored themes of trust and loyalty, while Pladdy’s “Hustle Fi Di Cash” spoke to the realities of street life and ambition. The riddim, built by ZINC LANE PRODUCTIONS, tied everything together with its driving bass and catchy hooks. Each song stood out, but the set worked best as a whole. Among the many bashment releases of 2016, this project quickly found favor with DJs and dancers, proving itself on the dance floor. The collaboration showed the power of strong production and real talent coming together.
