Far East 2015 Riddim – Kunley McCarthy

Produced by Kunley McCarthy in 2015, Far East 2015 Riddim is a compact four-track reggae release that moves between smooth lover’s rock and a heavier roots feel. The set features Aisha Davis on All I Need Is You, Izula and Marcy Chin on True Love, and Ward 21 on We A Danger in both an album version and a roots mix, with the instrumental also carried under Kunley Ward. Ward 21’s presence gives the riddim a stronger dancehall edge, while the alternate mix of We A Danger adds a different shade to the same foundation. McCarthy, who is also part of Ward 21, has often worked in the producer’s chair as well as the vocal booth, and this project reflects that hands-on approach.
