Peoples Records’ Fall In Love Riddim comes off like a straight 2001 dancehall-reggae session rather than a flashy label showcase, and that gives it a clean, almost archival feel. The lineup is a useful snapshot of the period: Delly Ranks on “Mr. Bigs, ” Elephant Man’s “Vampire, ” George Nooks with “Hey Girl, ” and the Ken Boothe, Mr. Vegas and Antho combination on the title tune.
