Tiger Eyes 7/8 was usually working in the rougher, street-level dancehall lane, and Eye Of The Tiger sits right in that pocket with a harder edge than the name suggests. The 2007 set leans on a clipped digital pulse, skanking keys, and a dry, punchy drum pattern that keeps the energy tight rather than frantic. The line-up is heavy on tough-talking voices and rewrites, with Capleton’s “Badness Rmx, ” Mad Cobra’s “Buss Me Gun Rmx, ” and Vybz Kartel’s “Badman Nuh Throw Word Rmx” doing most of the damage, while the Delly Ranks and Chino and Wayne Marshall pairings add a more playful contrast.
