Lutan Fyah is the anchor here, and “Hard Man Fi Dead” gives Expectancy Riddim its sharpest edge, with his steely delivery cutting through a set that also leans on Abijah’s relationship tune, Joseph I’s reflective “Times Like This, ” and Kamar I’s colder, more warning-driven turn on “They Got No Love. ” EDB Entertainment keeps the juggling lean and vocal-focused, and the riddim itself sits in that early-2010s roots space: mid-tempo, bass-heavy, and built to let the singers stretch out without losing pressure. Exile Di Brave and Jah Blun add a little more uplift on “It’s Alright, ” while Souljy’s “Loud Mouth” pushes the project toward tougher, more argumentative territory.
