Enterprise Riddim (2010) – Icon Music Group

A lean, springy pulse runs through Enterprise Riddim, and Icon Music Group keep it tight enough for Ding Dong’s My Money to jump out first with its money-minded swagger. The rest of the six-cut set stays in that same pocket, with Eklypse’s Never Believe and Zhand-High’s Prosperity pushing the riddim toward uplift while Strent’s Protect Mi Jah folds in a more devotional edge. It was put out in 2010, and the arrangement feels like the sort of mid-era dancehall track package that knew exactly how to keep each voice moving over the same frame. Tornado’s Ok sits right in the middle of it, almost like the riddim’s own nod and wink.
