By 2005, roots reggae was leaning hard into conscious, singer-driven riddims again, and Dub Blues sits right in that pocket with a compact five-song set from Farmland Records. Chrisinti’s “Temptation” and Ras Shiloh’s “Better Must Come” carry the weight here, while Turbulence’s “No Division” keeps the message sharp and direct over a dubby, blues-tinged rhythm that leaves plenty of space around the vocals. Israel Voice’s “Farm Up The Land” adds a devotional lift, and the version cut from Farm Land Records is part of the appeal too, letting the bass and echo breathe without crowding the arrangement.
