Chiney K Productions put out Dub A Rub Riddim in 2012, and it sits right in that early-2010s reggae space where one rhythm could carry both heavyweight veterans and sharper contemporary voices. The set was released under Chiney K Productions with Zojak handling the label side, and the album landed in April 2012.

The riddim has a sturdy rub-a-dub pulse with enough bounce for sound systems, but it is not just a nostalgia exercise. Bounty Killer comes hard on Mr. Pol-Lu-Tition, while Sizzla’s Hear Me Now with Rory, Cutty Ranks’ Blood Stain, and Anthony B’s Angels Over Me bring different shades of grit and uplift. Chiney K’s own Mi God Mi King, billed as a Papa Levi tribute, gives the project a self-aware anchor, and Lady G’s Herbie and Chuckle Berry’s One Draw 2 add extra texture to the vocal spread.
