The Drum Machine Riddim was born in the studio with a strong focus on building a powerful base for the road. The creators wanted a sound that would move the big trucks and crowds during Carnival 2019. The composer behind the riddim aimed for energy and melody, making sure each song would work well for dancing and parades. Ytm Recordz produced the Drum Machine Riddim. Known for their work in soca, Ytm Recordz shaped the sound with sharp drum patterns and lively melodies. Mr Legz and Destra Garcia teamed up for “Wining Challenge.” Destra Garcia is one of soca’s most famous voices, celebrated for songs like “Lucy” and for winning multiple Soca Monarch titles. Their collaboration brought a playful energy, inviting everyone to join the dance. Shal Marshall delivered “Mas Forever.” Shal Marshall is a well-known radio host and soca artist. He is famous for his hit “Splinters,” which was a major Carnival anthem in 2018. With “Mas Forever,” he brought his signature party style to the riddim. Olatunji performed “Gimme De Thing.” Olatunji is known internationally, especially after winning the International Groovy Soca Monarch in 2015 with “Ola.” His song on this riddim added a catchy, rhythmic flow. Problem Child gave fans “That Wine.” He is a respected songwriter and artist, known for penning hits for other soca stars as well as his own popular tracks.
