Drink Out Riddim keeps things tight: just Bounty Killer’s “Support Fi Support” and Iyara’s “Haters A Pree, ” no dead weight, no filler. Pay Day Music leans into a stripped-down dancehall cut that lets the vocals carry the attitude, and Bounty’s tune gives the project its sharpest pull. It feels like a smaller, more focused follow-up to the label’s earlier riddim work, closer in spirit to the rough-edged, bare-bones side of the Pay Day catalogue than to the bigger ensemble sets. For a 2013 release, that economy is the point; the riddim’s job is to frame two street-level salutes and keep the energy locked in place.
