Mr Vegas is the name that jumps out first on Donkey Cart Riddim, and “Tip Up” sits right at the center of this 2021 QG Production set with the kind of confident, patois-heavy dancehall energy he’s made his own over the years. The riddim keeps a tight, bounce-heavy groove, all skittering percussion and a rugged low end that leaves room for attitude, which suits Laa Lee’s “Instruction” and QQ’s “Dip and Come Up” as much as the rougher turns from Mean Dawg and Hard Fi Deal Wid.
