Dominance Riddim – Drop Top Records

Dominance Riddim comes in dark and steely, with that stripped-back dancehall pulse that leaves room for the vocals to do the damage. Chronic Law’s “Nuh Trust Nobody” sets the tone straight away, all paranoia and tight-lipped defiance, while Quada’s “Control” rides the riddim with a colder, more clipped swagger. Shaqstar’s “Cold Hearted” is the cut that really leans into the mood, and Candy Price’s “Take Hold” adds a sharper, more female-driven angle to the four-track set.
